Terms of Service

This website is operated by Danovel Pte. Ltd. (“Danovel”, “we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms of Service apply to all users of this website and to all purchases made with us.

By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use our website or services.

We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms at any time by posting changes on our website. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

1. Orders & Payment

All prices are stated in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and are inclusive of GST, unless otherwise stated.

For all custom-made or made-to-order items:

  • A 50% upfront payment is required to confirm the order and commence production.

  • The remaining balance must be paid in full prior to delivery, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

All orders will be produced strictly according to the final confirmed drawings, specifications, and quotation. Once production has begun, orders cannot be cancelled or amended.

2. Lead Time

Production lead times vary depending on design complexity, material availability, and factory workload.

  • Standard production timeframe: approximately 4–6 weeks

  • Peak or high-demand periods: up to 6–8 weeks

All lead times are estimates only. While we make every effort to meet stated timelines, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control and do not constitute grounds for cancellation, refund, or compensation.

3. Delivery

Delivery is handled by our in-house delivery team to ensure proper care and service quality.

  • Delivery fee of SGD 80-150 per order applies unless otherwise stated.

  • Delivery will be scheduled only after full payment has been received.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery location is accessible and ready to receive the items. If delivery cannot be completed due to site conditions, access restrictions, or customer unavailability, additional delivery or re-delivery charges may apply.

4. Made-To-Order & Customisation Policy

All customisation is carried out based on client-approved specifications. Customers must review and approve all details carefully before production begins.

Requests for changes after approval may not be possible and may result in additional costs and extended lead times.

Custom-made furniture is produced within standard manufacturing tolerances. Dimensions may vary by ±5mm, which is industry-accepted and inherent to carpentry processes. Such variations are not considered defects.

5. Material & Colour Variations

Natural materials such as wood, leather, and fabric may show variations in grain, texture, and colour. These variations are normal and are not considered defects.

Fabric colours are approved based on swatches or samples. Slight differences between the approved swatch and the final product may occur and are considered normal.

No warranty is provided on fabrics, and fabric-related variations do not qualify for refund, replacement, or compensation.

6. Fabric and material availability

If your selected material is delayed or discontinued, we’ll let you know immediately and suggest a close match. We won’t proceed without your approval.

7. Variations

Every piece is made by hand and no two are exactly alike. Minor differences in stitching, texture, or tone are part of the beauty of handcrafted furniture and are not considered defects.

8. Returns & Exchanges

Returns or exchanges are only considered in the event of a significant manufacturing defect. We will always assess and attempt rectification first. If the defect is severe, including issues such as woodworm infestation or internal structural damage, we will take full responsibility and ensure an appropriate resolution.

9. Warranty

We provide a 5 years warranty from the date of delivery, covering:

  • Structural integrity

  • Manufacturing defects

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Natural material variations

  • Improper use, negligence, or accidents

  • Exposure to moisture, heat, or humidity

  • Modifications or repairs by third parties

If a defect is verified, Danovel will assess and, where appropriate, offer repair or replacement. Refunds are not provided.

10. Design Ownership & Photography

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all design work created as part of your project, including sketches and prototypes, remains the property of the company.

We may photograph completed pieces for our portfolio or marketing purposes. If your space or project details are sensitive, simply let us know and we will be happy to keep them private.

11. Ownership & Risk

Ownership of all goods remains with Danovel Pte. Ltd. until full payment has been received. Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer upon successful delivery.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Danovel Pte. Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of our products or services.
